1. Assign someone responsible for implementing your promotional programme. Pre-event promotion is vital, and often gets overshadowed by the day to day activities of your company and the organisation of your trip to Abu Dhabi.
2. Build a contact list of the people you want to invite to the event. Start in-house and build a list of your current customers and sales prospects. Include anyone who has enquired about your products or services over the last 12 months.
3. Give your contacts a compelling reason to visit your stand. Tell them about a new product,
demonstration, or competition you are running.
4. Position the SIAL Middle East logo on your website, adverts and email signatures including a call to register and a link to your personal registration page. Add an information page about SIAL Middle East to your website and tell visitors what products you will be showcasing there.

5. Add a message on any print advertising you are already running – include the logo with your booth number and the url of your registration page.
6. Send an invitation by email. See a sample in the resources centre on the next tab.
7. Distribute hard copy invitations. Post an invitation to your top prospects, ask your sales teams to hand them out at client meetings, and put a pile in your company reception.

8. Submit your catalogue entry. Your company name, stand number, services, contact details
and company profile will be printed in the Official Show Catalogue. This information will be replicated on the show website and on a mobile app. to help visitors plan their trip. Online you can also add press releases, company logo, company brochures and photos.

9. Liaise with our Hosted Buyers team to arrange your meetings. We are funding the visits of 500 key buyers in the region. Tell us what you are selling and who you want to sell to, and we will arrange meetings with those buyers who match your profile.

10. Post information about SIAL Middle East on your social media networks. Whether it’s
Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, invite members of your networks to visit your stand and give them the link to your registration page.
