La Cuisine du SIAL

Organised by the Emirates Culinary Guild of Abu Dhabi

La Cuisine Du SIAL is a culinary exposition showcasing the talent and artistry of professional chefs.


The exposition will include all facets of gastronomy: practical cookery, bakery and pastry, cake decoration, food presentation, and present fashion & future trends. Many imaginative and artistic culinary creations will be on display throughout the three days of the event.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi chapter of the Emirates Culinary Guild, the exposition will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Entry to participate in any aspect of La Cuisine Du SIAL is open to any professional chef, cook, baker or pastry chef. There are no restrictions regarding age, position or workplace.

The various classes that can be entered at the show will be published in detail shortly.

As a courtesy to those artists needing time to prepare for the event we are giving preliminary notification that the following classes will be open to all comers:

• An Abu Dhabi Icon (create a cake, or edible showpiece constructed or decorated so as to celebrate one of Abu Dhabi’s iconic images).
• Chocolate Carving Showpiece
• Open Showpiece
• Pastry Showpiece

The Chefs of Abu Dhabi are delighted to be creating and managing La Cuisine Du SIAL.
It is early days, but Abu Dhabi Chefs have, at last, created a focus whereat professionals can display their myriad talents, network with their peers, exchange information, make new friends and renew old friendships.
