The SIAL Innovation Area showcases the world’s most innovative products, guaranteeing an experience for attendees to learn about upcoming trends in the food and beverage sector. SIAL Middle East 2016 had a record number of over 250 entries from all over the world.
Only open to exhibitors and judged by XTC World Innovation, SIAL Innovation provides an excellent opportunity to showcase new innovative products to thousands of attendees. Part of the global programme, the award is only for newly introduced food and beverage products. The winning product will be displayed at all SIAL events worldwide.
Whether for foodservice, retail or the food industry, SIAL Middle East will be bringing the world’s innovative products to a display area on the exhibition floor once again this December.
Out of the 150+ submissions and 43 finalists, Nothern Irish producer of healthy milled flaxseeds, nets and berries, Linwoods wins SIAL Innovation Gold Award at SIAL Middle East 2017. John Woods, Managing Director of Linwoods, commented “Recognition for our products at one of the world’s most prestigious food and beverage events is a major endorsement of our reputation for producing outstanding health food products and we’re delighted that the judges have chosen our ‘Sprouted Flaxseed’ product as best in class.”
The Silver Award was presented to French company, Optimal Wood SAS for their beverage OGAM which is made of roasted wood.
UAE based Al Rabia Al Daim Food & Beverages LLC was awarded the Bronze Award for their Almond Milk, Walnut Milk and Pistachio Milk.
